International Poverty Forum and No Bare Soles
Caring For Others will host two important events this summer, both of which exemplify our mission to eradicate poverty.
On Friday, July 19, we will hold our second International Poverty Forum. Held at the Carter Center in Atlanta, this event welcomes a diverse group of thought leaders from the private, public and nonprofit sectors who will meet to strategize how to turn ideas into action.
On Saturday, July 20, our annual No Bare Soles shoe distribution takes place. Bigger than ever this year, No Bare Soles seeks to provide 3,000 pairs of new shoes to children in Atlanta and Georgia, while in partnership with individuals and organizations throughout the world, we plan to distribute an additional 20,000 pairs of shoes in Alabama, Antigua, Guyana, Sri Lanka and more.
