Community Holiday Program
The Community Holiday Giving Program distributes toys, clothes, food, household goods and other items to hundreds of families who may not be able to provide a meal or warm clothing for their families during the winter and Thanksgiving/Christmas Holidays. The items are donated by foundations, individuals, corporations and churches.
Emergency Financial Assistance
Emergency Financial Assistance is designed to assist in preventing homelessness by extending a helping hand with utility assistance and mortgage/rental assistance to those who are in crisis. Most often the people receiving assistance are in need because of circumstances beyond their control. Examples include: unemployment, illness, separation from families, death, and residents with fixed incomes facing very high utility bills. In most cases, we are able to prevent eviction or foreclosures by providing the essential financial resources that are needed for a more stable and secure environment.
Food Assistance
The food pantry is stocked with canned goods and other staples from community food donors, civic groups companies and individuals. Our goal is to help alleviate hunger by providing the necessary food to the people who come to our door for assistance.
