Caring For Others is committed to making this website accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We design, build, and maintain caring4others.org so that every visitor — including those using assistive technologies — can learn about our programs and access the resources we provide.

Conformance target

This website is designed to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, the technical standard published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). WCAG 2.1 Level AA is the standard most commonly referenced in U.S. and international accessibility law, including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.

Current conformance status

caring4others.org is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. “Partially conformant” means that some content does not yet fully meet the standard. We are actively remediating known issues and will update this statement as fixes are deployed.

Ongoing improvements

We are continuously improving the accessibility of caring4others.org. Areas currently under active review and remediation include:

•       Some image and gallery elements on certain pages are being updated to improve screen-reader navigation.
