Caring For Others provides financial and economic support for utility bills, rent, mortgage payments, food, and personal finances to individuals facing economic hardships.

Financial & Economic Hardship Policies

All clients must complete an intake form below. Photo ID is required.

Emergency Food Assistance

Distributed only Monday – Thursday between 10:00 AM and 1:30 PM

  • Must live in our six ZIP Code area 30310, 30291, 30349, 30315, 30344 and 30354. Proof of residence must be provided such as lease or a mortgage stub. Must live at current residence for six (6) months.

  • Clients can receive food three times a year, no more than once a month.

  • Clients must present proof of income (check stub, food stamp letter, TANF letter, and Social Security/disability letter or employment award.

  • Provide proof of everyone in household, via Social Security card or birth certificates. Food will be averaged by household members.

  • Food co-op service will be on Wednesday 12 noon to 2 PM

Emergency Clothing/Furniture

Distributed only on Monday – Thursday between 10:00 AM and 1:30 PM

  • Service ZIP Codes include 30030, 30236, 30260, 30291, 30296, 30297, 30310, 30311, 30314, 30315, 30316, 30320, 30337, 30344, 30349, and 30354. Proof of residence must be provided such as lease or a mortgage stub. Must live at current residence for six (6) months.

  • Clients can only receive clothing one time a year and no more than three times from CFO.

  • Clients can receive furniture if they are a fire victim and can present a fire report. No more than three times from CFO.

  • Clients must present proof of income (check stub, food stamp letter, TANF letter, and Social Security/disability letter or employment award.

  • Provide proof of everyone in household, via Social Security card or birth certificates. Food will be averaged by household members.
